Many people talk about humanity but often don't
show live it. In this work, I aimed to make
humanity visible. to show that beyond our
differences in race or culture ,we c aie are all all all al part of
One shared body.
By bringing together faces of both black and white
individuals to form a single human profile. Each
face contributes to the whole, symbolizing that
true humanity exist only when we see ourselves in
others.
I was inspired by the real incidents such as the
xenophobic attack in Addo, Eastern Cape (May
2025) where dozens of foreign nationals were
displaced and attacked simply for belonging to
different countries. This piece intervence in the
narrative of division. By constructing a single
human form from many individual faces, the work
strongly express that humanity is not defined by
origin race or nationality. It is shared.
