Drawing has been part of my life since childhood. While I was still in high school, I joined an art club where I learned a lot and discovered how much joy creative expression brought me.
Life eventually took me in a different direction, and for many years drawing remained in the background.
About twenty years ago, my husband asked me a simple question: if I had loved drawing so much, why not start again? Perhaps it would bring me joy again. He was right. I picked up a pencil again, and soon afterwards I began painting as well.
Since then, painting has become one of the greatest sources of happiness in my life. Now, in retirement, encouraged by my family and friends, I organized my first exhibition. I hope it will be followed by many more opportunities to share my work with others.
