Al Wasi is a very special painting to me. It’s the first one that departs from what I was used to creating. This painting looks like an image taken by the James Webb telescope.
I gave it a name to keep it connected with my previous painting "99". I felt that Infinitely Vast perfectly represented it. Yet, the approach has nothing to do with spirituality or my relationship with God.
From a human perspective, I wanted to explore what I could understand about the universe, its nuances. It was the first time I was mapping the universe in my own way. I wanted to have the universe right before my eyes. Sometimes we try to control insignificant things, while above our heads, a world keeps moving forward. Stars are born, stars die — beyond our control.
I want to leave a message of hope to anyone who feels powerless, who thinks their world is falling apart or that things aren’t going as they wish. If we look up and stop focusing only on the visible world — trees, forests, lakes, seas — above us lies the imperceptible. Not humans, but particles of dust coming together to form infinitely vast things. Sometimes, just like a dying star, we have to let things go in order to be reborn.

A time of life is given to everything, so let’s focus on what truly matters.

About the Artist

At some point, I felt the urge to slow down, to work with my hands, to create something more tangible. That’s how I began my journey into handmade candle making.
What I love is everything: the scent of oils, the quiet sound of melted wax, the way colors blend together... Each candle is a moment of joy and focus.
I’m a curious, hands-on person with many passions. Painting has always been my way to let go — to express feelings through colors, shades, and contrast. Each canvas becomes a starting point — a nucleus around which my other creations gravitate, whether visual, olfactory, or poetic. I love to play with the senses — scents, textures, sounds — and bring my ideas to life through matter.

I draw inspiration from the universe, spirituality, and the human condition.
Art, to me, is a space for exploration, emotion, and freedom, where every gesture is a sincere attempt to give shape to the invisible.
