Pluri-disciplinaire, Paula Molano est une artiste colombienne résidant bordeaux. Elle puisse son inspiration des dynamiques humaines et culturelles de son lieu de naissance et des endroits qu’elle habite, elle produit des œuvres qui résonnent avec avec l’identité, le genre, et le féminin. Elle réalise ses études en art visuel à l’Universidad del Valle en Colombie, elle participe à quelques expositions régionales dans son lieu de naissance, en tant qu’exposante telles que Bugarte, et en tant que jury pour un concours de Peinture amateur organisé par la Mairie d’Ulloa (Valle). Également entre 2010 et 2014, elle contribue sous différents axes, dans des projets artistiques.
En France elle développe plus formellement sa pratique pictural et visuelle où elle profite de son intérêt par la photographie pour redécouvrir la peinture à l’huile et à l’aquarelle. Entre Paris et Bordeaux, elle participe à quelques expositions, et projets visuels, tels que : un court-métrage produit par des étudiants de master de la FEMIS en tant que scénographe, l’illustration d’un livre de contes intitulé Pussia Püchi, la modélisation des props et du personnage d’un jeu vidéo sur portable intitulé Cyber Maze et la modelisation et animation d’un vidéo de musique intitulé Esencia de la musicienne Laura Gomez.
A Bordeaux où elle réside actuellement, elle participe à quelques expositions régionales. Elle continue à développer sa démarche pictural et elle s’intéresse aux nouveaux médias, tels que l’art 3D et les nouveaux dispositifs d’exposition.
