Finding light between two waves is a deeply personal work.

It was painted as an attempt to convey serenity in a world of constant chaos, whether that chaos surrounds us, or lives quietly inside our minds. I wanted this painting to act as a pause outside of time. A pause that softens the gaze, where the eyelids can finally rest.

The waves represent the meanders of life: the moments we pass through that make us question everything, sometimes even want to give everything up. But when we slow down and look closely, between the waves, a faint light appears.

This light comes back to us from time to time. It is what allows us to keep going. Sometimes it rises from within ourselves; sometimes it comes from the people around us, reminding us how deeply we are loved.

This painting is for those who find light in small things, in fleeting moments, in quiet presences, all between two waves.

About the Artist

What interests me most as an artist are the sensations my paintings evoke: serenity, calm, and a sense of relief.

My work is influenced by Impressionism, particularly by Claude Monet and Alfred Sisley, but I seek to offer a more personal and contemporary interpretation of this legacy. I like to leave space for the undefined, for what is not entirely said.

Painting is, for me, a form of pause. In a world marked by constant chaos, I aim to create spaces where the gaze can rest, where one can breathe for a moment.

Some of my works are also shaped by concerns that matter deeply to me, such as mental health and the climate crisis, always approached in a sensitive, non-confrontational way.

I paint as a form of escape, for myself, and for those who welcome my paintings into their lives.
