ABOUT ME
My motivation comes from my personal relationship with my environments and things around me.
Secondly, Of particular interest to me is the conjunction of my character with emotions which I express with lines and symbols. My current work seeks to explore the way emotions can push into and through abstraction, like figures breaking the surface of water.
Often times words can be found hidden within lines and symbols, speaking to the thoughtful and meditative process of creating the images. There is a back and forth conversation with the work, where my figure and the process inspire the mood of the work, and then the symbols and lines entered into the drawing itself, to become part of the reflections.
