About the Artist

I am Fidele Msambya an eighteen-year-old boy, born in January 1st, 2006 in Democratic
Republic of the Congo, but now living at Dzaleka Refugee camp in Malawi as a refugee. I reflect
a varied personality including ambition, and the qualities of generosity and thoughtfulness.
I am also a well determined and vigorous individual, yet pleasantly calm. I encourage fighting
for what I desire and believe in and doing it through God because nothing great comes easy and
with God everything is possible.
I am a full-time worker, motivated by my love for learning and succeeding as I strive to
become an outstanding and successful boy in today’s society. With the definitive goal of
becoming a professional artist in art drawing and I am currently completing the second level in
painting, creativity and decoration.
Through my passion for performing, I have embraced a fanatical interest in art drawing from an
infant growing up, and so have participated in different art festivals; three of which were regional

the opportunity to embrace and appreciate who we Generation Painting art studio are as a people.
Locally, I am involved in keeping my talent alive and as a role model; creating avenues for
