A yearning for something lost accompanied by a sense of a irreparable emptiness. I was born on the same year I lost both of my siblings and I coincidentally share the same birthday as one of them. Even though we've never met I feel the sense of loss and emptiness and I can't help with feel things without being a whole lot different if they were still here and I got to be able to relationship with them. People see it is weird given the uh you didn't actually meet them so they feel um it's not in my place to grieve, mourn people I never met. So this piece is me expressing how everything makes me feel, it's an openness to emotional pains suggesting my grief is now a familiar companion no one would ever understand.

About the Artist

Name: Austin Onah

I'm a Visionary Artist and an Explorer of Shadows & Emotions
I am a charcoal whisperer, weaving tales of darkness and light. My art is a reflection of life's contrasts – fallen angels, haunting landscapes, and poignant portraits.
Inspired by the mysterious and unknown, I craft pieces that invite viewers into the intimate spaces of my imagination. Charcoal is my weapon of choice, allowing me to dance between reality and dreams.
My work is a testament to the beauty in shadows, the strength in vulnerability, and the solace in embracing our true emotions.
**Collections include:** Fallen Angels Series | Whispers in Charcoal | Shadows Within | The Explorer
