My name is Oskar Derych I am a Polish visual artist working with photographic collage, symbolic deconstruction and personal narrative. My recent series “Homo Sacer” explores identity, trauma and survival through a hybrid human-animal figure, merging self-portraiture with posthuman expression. My works was shown at Contemporary Venice and sold via Saatchi Art.
I believe true beauty lies in imperfection and authenticity. I reject the fleeting allure of polished, instant beauty and instead celebrate the raw, unfiltered stories that shape us.
I honor the uniqueness of every story, every journey, believeing that the scars on our souls hold far more value than any surface-level perfection. They remind us of where we’ve been, what we’ve endured, and how we’ve grown.
