The painting depicts the concept of pure awareness, which exists independently of physical surroundings and external circumstances. It is formless, all-encompassing and limitless, permeating and overshadowing everything. There is no structure that can restrict pure awareness. The labyrinthine structure of panel buildings metaphorically and literally portraits feeling lost in a cold and functional urban environment. Through meditation, we can break free from our environment and circumstances and tap into this transcendent state of being. The juxtaposition of the complex and intricate structure with the ethereal and formless clouds creates a sense of tension and intrigue, invites to contemplate the relationship between physical surroundings and consciousness. The pink color adds a layer of emotional depth to the painting, suggesting that the exploration of consciousness is a deeply personal and transformative journey.
The image came to me during meditation after contemplating about spiritual concepts. It is relevant to my personal life because I am struggling to find meaning and balance living in a big city.
